KPS Development
Work is less and less routine or predictable all the time. Today’s jobs are much less repeatable or structured than jobs of the past. Work now requires almost constant innovation and reinvention.
Gartner Research predicted that in 2022, one out of five workers will engage in non-routine work daily and that by 2027, sixty-seven percent of all jobs will be considered non-routine. That means two out of three workers will be expected to constantly innovate and reinvent their jobs. So, no matter what you studied in high school, college, a certificate program, or any place else, your job will require you to think on your feet.
To make things even more interesting, Deloitte predicted that in ten years, as many as nine out of ten workers will have super jobs!
That means most of us will be responsible for tasks that previously would have been done by two or more people.
So, not only will you innovate and reinvent your job daily, but you’ll be doing the work of two or more!
Just a short time ago, these were only predictions. Now, they are reality. Skilled trades or corporate, today’s jobs are non-routine super jobs! The shift has posed a major challenge for education, as neither schools, nor colleges or certification programs teach the skills workers need to succeed in this new environment.
The Key Performance Skills Program was created to address this need.
In just seven short courses, KPS provides practical, relevant instruction in the skills employees need to succeed:
- Sensemaking
- Self-Awareness
- Problem Solving
- Strategic Thinking
- Communication
- Adaptiveness
- Leadership
