Key Performance Skills is authored by Alla Reese. Alla began her career as a classroom teacher, teaching high school English in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After moving back to Ohio from New Jersey, Alla taught at Marion Technical College and Columbus State Community College, focusing on communication and writing skills and working primarily with students taking Developmental Education courses.
In 2000, Alla’s career shifted as she entered the world of educational publishing, working at McGraw Hill, Zaner-Bloser, Cengage Learning, and Battelle for Kids in a variety of roles, in curriculum development, marketing, e-learning, and teacher training. With more than 20 years’ experience in writing, publishing, training, and leadership, in 2018 Alla began research on key skills needed for the changing workplace.
The Key Performance Skills program is the result of that research! The program combines Alla’s passion for education and training with her expertise in curriculum development and dedication to engaging, practical, relevant instruction to deliver a unique program for anyone who wants to succeed and thrive in the new and ever-changing work landscape!
