1. Sensemaking: how to manage complexity, frame non-routine situations, and act with expertise
2. Self-Awareness: how to understand thinking and resist blind spots and biases
3. Problem Solving: how to understand, simplify, and solve complex problems
4. Strategic Thinking: how to use knowledge and judgment to make informed, reasoned decisions
5. Communication: how to offer clear information, work well in teams, collaborate, and coach or be coached
6. Adaptiveness: how to be flexible and creative, seeing and generating alternatives
7. Leadership: how to persuade, motivate, and inspire others toward a common goal
Service Organizations Offerings
Workshops
KPS offers Key Performance Skills Workshops, which provide instruction, practice, and application of Key Performance Skills within the context of labor and employee readiness.
Workshops are offered in 8-hour or 4-hour formats. Each workshop is taught by a highly-qualified trainer. Workshops include instruction, modeling, guided practice, and independent practice (8-hour format only).
Resources
Organizations participating in Capacity Building Workshops receive the Interactive Frameworks and Project Planner, which contains worksheets and templates to help your organization plan projects and initiatives.
Consulting
Consulting for staff and leaders is available to support ongoing application of Key Performance Skills, as well as for support of new projects or initiatives.
Online Courses
Key Performance Skills Online Courses offer instruction, practice, and application in a self-directed, asynchronous format. Each course can be completed in approximately 8 hours.
Courses are divided into 20-minute lessons and contain knowledge checks and activities that guide learners through the content. Each course contains narrated instruction and modeling of skills, interactive forms and frameworks, and a final course assessment.
KPS Online Courses are hosted on the KPS LMS and are accessible with any device or browser.
